Dear Columbia Families,
We are excited to welcome you and your children back for the 2024-25 school year! There are a few important dates that we wanted to be sure that you were aware of as our first day of school draws near.
Now that our registration process is digital, we are offering Registration Technical Assistance on Wednesday, August 14 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM in the Library. If you have completed the registration process, you do not need to attend. If you are in need of assistance and unable to attend on August 14, please come to the Main Office on August 15 and 16 during regular business hours.
On Friday, August 16, class lists will be finalized and you can see your child’s classroom teacher via the Aeries parent portal.
Tuesday, August 20 will be our Back to School Night for all grade levels. We invite all families to join us beginning at 4:30 PM for a barbecue. Dinner will be available until 6:00 PM. At 5:00 PM in the Gym, families for TK-5 can come for a brief presentation by administration before visiting their classes. Middle School Orientation (Grades 6-8) will begin at 6:00 PM in the Gym followed by classroom visits.
Wednesday, August 21 will be our first day of school! This will be an early release day, ending at 1:15 PM. Thursday and Friday, August 22-23 will also be early dismissal at 1:15 PM.
As a reminder, school begins at 8:15 AM for all students. Students can be dropped off as early as 7:45 AM. Kindergarten is dismissed at 1:45 PM and Grades 1-8 are dismissed at 2:55 PM. Every Friday is early dismissal at 1:15 PM for Grades K-8. TK is in two (2) sessions: AM (8:15-11:15 AM) and PM (11:55 AM - 2:55 PM).
Kindergarten will be dismissed at 12:45 PM from August 21 through August 30.
